HON. ASSEMBLY MEMBER FOR AGOVE ELECTORAL AREA AND ELDERS PAYS COURTESY CALL ON DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE.

A delegation from Abutia Agotive community on Tuesday, 5th April 2022, paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive for Ho West District, Hon. Ernest Victor Apau at his office.

The delegation led by the Assembly Member for Agove Electoral Area, Hon. Jonas Ali Bedi included Mama Xala I, Queen mother of Agotive; Mr. Collins Aziedu, Unit Committee Member, Gershon Sedo, Youth Leader; Mr. Nukomeko Koku Tetey, NDC Constituency Chairman and Madam Gedie  Bethar.

The purpose of the visit was to formally inform the Assembly about the death of their chief who will be buried in May, 2022. It was also for the Assembly to support the community to open their road.

In response, the District Chief Executive thanked them for the visit. He hinted that their road was part of the three major roads he earmarked to open and therefore assured that the Assembly will help them open the roads to create more access and development for the people in that enclave. He added that the contractor is back to site to complete the 16km Dededo-Sebekope road which is 70% complete.

Hon. Apau also indicated that the Assembly mourns and sympathizes with them at this time of bereavement.
